Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our family law team in Charlotte.

Our firm is committed to providing exceptional legal services to families during their most challenging times.

As a Family Law Attorney, you will handle a variety of family-related legal issues, including child custody, child support, separation, adoptions, and more.

Whether you have family law experience already, or are looking to get into this practice area, we would love to hear from you if you have at least 2 years of experience as an attorney.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive legal support and representation to clients dealing with family-related issues such as child support, separation, and adoption.
2. Conduct thorough case investigations, legal research, and analysis to develop effective legal strategies.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, and agreements.
4. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices are heard.
5. Provide compassionate, empathetic, and professional legal advice and guidance to clients.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law legislation, court rulings, and industry trends to provide the most accurate and relevant advice to clients.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a genuine commitment to their well-being and success.
8. Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure the delivery of top-notch legal services.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar of North Carolina and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 6 months' experience as an Attorney, ideally with some family law experience.
4. Exceptional negotiation skills and courtroom demeanor.
5. Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
7. Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but no required.
