We are looking for an entry-level Financial Analyst to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and oversight within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will contribute to critical mutual fund activities, including budgeting, regulatory reviews, and monitoring fund programs.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and review of mutual fund custody, treasury, and financial reporting activities.
• Conduct reconciliation processes and accounting reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review security pricing with secondary sources, especially for fixed income securities and derivatives, and present findings to the Pricing Committee.
• Monitor custodian activities and coordinate the opening of custody accounts.
• Analyze regulatory filings such as shareholder reports and updates to Form N-1A.
• Manage fund expense budgets and oversee the expense payment process.
• Support fund launches, mergers, liquidations, proxies, and share class changes.
• Create and maintain detailed reports for the Board of Trustees, subadvisors, and management.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with functional capabilities for data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to review and interpret financial statements and regulatory documents.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with teams.
• Willingness to work on-site three days per week.
• 0+ years of experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
