Job Description

Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient material handling processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $19 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform a combination of tasks including receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Efficiently and safely load, unload, and convey materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; we welcome entry-level candidates.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
• Willingness to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
