As a Forklift Operator, you’ll operate forklifts to move and stack heavy or unbalanced loads of cardboard without traditional racking systems. You’ll also assist with machine loading/unloading and perform general warehouse tasks as needed.
Job Duties
· Operate forklifts to safely transport and stack large, unbalanced loads of cardboard
· Stack finished cardboard onto pallets without a racking system
· Load and unload cardboard into production machines as needed
· Support production by cleaning and assisting other departments during machine downtime
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Schedule
· Day: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (OT on Saturdays)
· Swing: Tuesday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (OT on Mondays)
Pay:
· $20-$21 per hour
· +$1 per hour swing shift differential
Requirements:
· Previous forklift experience with heavy or unbalanced loads
· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly (with or without accommodation)
· Willingness to work in a warm warehouse environment during summer
· Self-motivated and dependable; strong attendance is key
· Reliable transportation (location is not accessible by public transit)
· Willingness and ability to work mandatory overtime (up to 55 hours/week)
