Job Description

The Company At Nylas, we specialize in making it easier for developers to add email, calendar, and contact management features into their applications. We provide tools called APIs, which streamline the integration of these functionalities, ensuring they are secure and effective. The Role We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to support the financial planning and analysis function as we continue to build a foundation of excellence in finance. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving complex problems, driving efficiency, and delivering data-driven insights that shape business strategy. What You Must Bring At least 2-4 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within high-growth technology companies. Strong foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles, with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build and maintain complex financial models. Exceptional ability to analyze large datasets, extract insights, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. A growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement. Willingness to take on challenges, from foundational tasks to complex strategic initiatives. You shouldn’t apply if you: Have limited experience in financial planning and analysis. Prefer narrowly defined responsibilities and shy away from taking ownership of complex tasks. Lack a detail-oriented mindset. Struggle with self-direction. Are uncomfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams.
