Job Description

Description: Mo' Bettah's support team is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst with a strong understanding and experience in financial modeling, commercial real estate, real estate finance, and construction. On the Finance team you will report to the Head of Finance but will work very closely with the Head of Development and the entire development team. This role will be in-person, in our Lehi Office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Extensive experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis within a vertically integrated real estate firm and/or multi-unit retail Strong track record in leading and developing high-performing FP&A teams, with strong leadership and mentoring abilities Assess the viability of new commercial real estate requests including analyzing financial statements, addressing industry risks, collateral requirements, and structure Prepare prescreen review, complete full underwriting analysis, and perform ongoing reviews of existing real estate portfolio Review upcoming sites for best profitable market while avoiding business cannibalization Experience with location-based or spatial analytics platforms (SiteZeus and Placer.AI preferred) Interact with stakeholders, effectively communicating upcoming plans, strategies, budget vs. actual performance, and key insights relate to the role Working knowledge of financial statements, real estate appraisals, environmental reports, title policies, and loan documentation Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Live by and possess the Mo' Bettahs Values Self-started with the ability to work with minimal supervision Excellent client relationship and communication skills, both verbal and written Strong proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel, database systems, SQL, and financial reporting platforms Exhibit strong organizational and managerial skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism Ability to think strategically and align financial planning with broader business objectives Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights Maintain regular and predictable attendance Hold a valid driver's license Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field MBA preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in FP&A, with a strong background in real estate finance, including corporate, investment, development, hospitality, and construction assets 2+ yrs. experience in commercial real estate role Or a combination of education and experience to meet the requirements

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time including viewing the screen, using a mouse and manipulating a keyboard with hands, reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed pharmaceuticals and/or OT that may impair or affect the ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
