Continent Solution System Inc (CSS) is a comprehensive freight forwarding and supply chain management corporation in Ontario, California. The company’s daily operations are a brokerage, warehousing, and distribution services within the US with an emphasis on the West and East coasts. Our main objective is to provide excellent service and create value for our clients.

• *Responsibilities
• *

The operations coordinator work CSS team to provide superior service to our customers while achieving profit goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility and will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the efficiency of daily operations. The candidate should be organized and have great communication skills. Duties include but are not limited to: Communicate effectively with vendors, couriers, and other operational departments both verbally and via email tracking shipments, communicate with carriers, truckers, overseas and other related vendors and ensure timely delivery of shipments create, inspect and confirm all necessary documentation for freight forwarding Understand import/export and necessary paperwork associated Works with container drayage truckers, port terminal operators, and steamship line personnel to ensure loads are within the strict guideline windows. Check all work are compliant with appropriate rules and regulations Ensure all proper records are input in the system, organized and filed Help billing department with billing and invoicing information Assisting our operations department with freight rates research Gathering and analyzing data as needed Communicate, update and track logistics information in meetings, google drive, and excel spreadsheets. Comprehend all shipping carrier timelines. Ability to file UPS cargo insurance claims and follow up · Other duties as assigned

• *Qualifications
• *

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1+ year of experience in the Air and Sea transportation industry
• Experienced in identifying and resolving complex issues
• Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills in communicating with company internal personnel and external partners and customers
• A self-starter that works independently as well as working in a team environment. Be able to juggle multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to plan, organize, and set priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet research, and web-based software applications as needed
• Fluent in English/ Mandarin Chinese is a plus
