Position Summary:We are a growing CPA firm seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record in managing books for multiple clients across diverse industries. This role plays a vital part in supporting our accounting and tax teams by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in client advisory services, and ensuring compliance with standard accounting procedures.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple clients.Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll entries, and journal entries.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Manage and clean up client QuickBooks Online and Desktop files as needed.Assist clients with QuickBooks setup, training, and troubleshooting.Collaborate with CPAs and senior accountants to support tax preparation and planning efforts.Ensure all bookkeeping tasks are performed accurately and in a timely manner.Maintain client confidentiality and professional integrity at all times.Provide support during audits or financial reviews.Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, QuickBooks updates, and relevant tax regulations.Qualifications:Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor (Online and/or Desktop).3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting or CPA firm environment.Strong understanding of GAAP and bookkeeping best practices.Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop; experience with other software (e.g., Xero, Excel, Bill.com, Gusto, etc.) is a plus.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (but not required with sufficient experience).Preferred Traits:Self-starter who works well independently and in a team setting.Proactive problem-solver with a client-service mindset.Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and deadlines.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development opportunities.Flexible work schedule or hybrid work options (if applicable).Supportive team culture in a dynamic CPA firm.
