Global Freight Forwarder Location Remote :

Interstate is seeking a Global Freight Forwarder to join our Global Relocation team! The Global Freight Forwarder will be responsible for end-to-end management of all (HHE/UAB/POV/NTS) International-related shipments. Shipments include tenders from General Service Administration (GSA) agencies, Department of State (ITGBL), National Corporate Accounts, and Private Transferees.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM, can be flexible with hours/time zones). During peak season (mid-May to mid-August), the hours can increase to 50-55 HPW.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant freight forwarding and/or shipment coordination experience.
• Must have an in-depth knowledge of the international shipping chain and freight forwarding rate structure.
• Must have household goods and/or moving industry experience.
• Experience with ITGBL and GSA accounts is preferred but not required.
• College degree (logistics/business/transportation) preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• Must have excellent multi-tasking capabilities and make sound routing decisions upon analyzing shipment profitability.
• Proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Office, Teams, and Outlook.
