Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team. In this role, the Government Inside Sales Representative will proactively engage with government customers and help them navigate federal, state, and local regulations and procurement processes and well as collaborate with commercial sales representatives and help secure new business and maintain e-commerce site to ensure success.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively sell office, janitorial, and packing supplies to federal, state, and local government agencies. businesses, and organizations.
• Navigate federal, state, and local regulations and procurement processes to ensure compliance and successful sales transactions.
• Accurately and efficiently process quote requests and orders using our sales. management software, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and contracts.
• Coordinate with outside sales representatives to align strategies and achieve overall sales goals.
• Assist in maintaining and updating e-commerce website to ensure product information is current and accessible.
• Gather and analyze sales data.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention of customers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in business-to-government (B2G) sales.
• Understanding of government and public sector cooperative purchasing including, procurement processes, RFPs, and standard bid requests and GSA contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and others for data analysis and reporting.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate federal, state, and local regulations.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, crucial for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work -Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects. Work involves sitting most of the time; walking and standing are required only occasionally.
