Job Description The ideal candidates for these positions possess a minimum of 7 years working within a healthcare organization and/or delivering consulting and expert services covering a broad spectrum of healthcare organizations (i.e., health systems, payers, physician practices, private equity firms, portfolio companies, investment banks, legal, government, etc.) and situations. A strong background in regulatory, compliance, financial and operational analysis, business intelligence, deliverables preparation, and team management are required. Senior Vice President and Vice President level roles will be responsible for effectively leading and utilizing all members of their team on a variety of engagements, ensuring successful execution of deliverables, cultivating and strengthening client relationships and growing and developing internal team members. Senior Vice President roles will also be responsible for business development and revenue generation. Job Responsibilities: Build and manage client relationships and act as a direct contact with current clients. Lead (or assist support as needed) complex healthcare investigations, disputes and compliance engagements. Initiate and/or manage as appropriate, business development activities with prospective clients. Provide insight and expertise, gather data and information pertinent to engagement, manage analysis, including determining appropriate methodologies and building and reviewing models and dashboards to support work. In an expert role, draft expert reports/rebuttals and/or review and analyze reports of opposing experts. Provide leadership, direction, and timely updates to all relevant internal team members. Ensure all engagements/reports are delivered on schedule and budget through the establishment of clear client and internal team deadlines and on-going communication. Qualifications Minimum of 4-7 years of experience (depending on role) working within healthcare on the provider and/or payer side and/or broader professional services consulting experience. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to solve our client's challenges and requests as well as produce high-quality deliverables. Strategic project and change management skills. Strong independent work ethic and team leadership skills and qualities. Deep analysis and critical thinking skills leveraging industry experience. Able to meet deadlines while being detail oriented and leading a team. Open to travel as needed, travel requirements will vary based on client needs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing, managing and growing a client base. Experience serving as an expert witness. Experience managing teams, technology, and automation tools to create efficiency and develop dynamic solutions. Advanced degree and/or certifications (vary depending on role): Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE); Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional (CHIAP); Certified Professional Coder (CPD); Certified Coding Specialists (CCS); Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC); Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC); Registered Health Information Administrator or Technician (RHIA/RHIT); Track record of successfully building relationships, leading engagements, and developing junior staff resources.
