Overview of the Role:

As a Helicopter Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) based in Greencastle, Indiana, you'll play an integral role in our client's mission to save lives. You'll ensure the airworthiness and reliability of their advanced aircraft fleet, ready for critical emergency responses. This position is ideal for skilled mechanics eager to continually hone their skills and make a tangible difference in patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance or inspection tasks to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
  • Communicate with the Lead Mechanic about any maintenance issues requiring schedule or resource adjustments.
  • Manage aircraft maintenance at field bases, ensuring the safety and security of company assets.
  • Prepare reports and certify that maintenance meets FAA, manufacturer, and company standards.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in RAMCO, including work packages and status sheets.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient job completion.
  • Oversee parts inventory, adjust stock levels, and maintain special tools with proper calibration.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Mechanic.
  • Basic communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including functional capacity and drug screening.
  • Sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting skills are a plus for Roving Maintenance Team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work night shifts as required.
