Job Description
HOTEL VALET ATTENDANT - Full-time and part-time availability. Overnight shifts and some day shift flexibility. $13/hour plus tips.
Summary / Objective
Valets are responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and friendly service to patrons utilizing the valet service. Valet Parking Attendants are responsible for performing pre-existing damage inspections, greeting customers, parking and retrieving vehicles, organizing vehicles, managing parking area (directing traffic, delineators, etc.), managing keys, basic car servicing, vacuuming customer vehicles upon request, answering phones, and collecting parking fees.
Essential Functions
• Ability to remain upright throughout an entire shift
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests
• Ability to operate motor vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions
• Organizational skills to ensure that keys are easy to retrieve and vehicles are simple to locate
• Ability to move quickly to reduce the wait for guests
• Knowledge of the area to answer guests’ questions
• Communication skills to interact with other Valets and provide instructions to guests
• Ability to move heavy objects to aid in the loading and unloading of vehicles
Position Type
Full Time and Part-Time Positions Available – Hours vary by position openings. $12/hour plus tips. Full time employees eligible for benefits including health insurance, life insurance and 401k.
Supervisory Responsibility
The position has no supervisory responsibilities

Physical Demands

The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, reach, stretch, and other physical activities necessary to perform the job duties.
Required Education and Experience
Verifiable High School/Trade School Diploma or GED
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must possess a valid Driver’s License with no more than three (3) points
Previous customer service experience preferred
Previous cash handling experience preferred
Ability to operate a manual transmission
Ability to pass a background investigation
Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening
