About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our dynamic People eXperience team in San Francisco. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in policy development and implementation along with utilizing creativity and inclusivity in communication. The ideal candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of the employee handbook and ensure compliance with employment laws.

A Day in the Life

  • Help revise and update the employee handbook, ensuring compliance with current employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research on employment laws and best practices to inform HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in organizing employee training sessions and workshops.

What You Need

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Note: This is a hybrid 8-week internship program in San Francisco, CA, with a start date of either March 10th or March 17th.
