As we expand across the U.S., we are seeking a dedicated Ice Cream & Candy Maker to join our production team in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
Position Summary:
This full-time role is responsible for producing, packaging, and maintaining inventory of Pecan Jacks’ handmade ice cream and confections. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen environment where attention to detail and consistency are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce ice cream, candy, chocolates, waffle cones, and related items according to company recipes and procedures
Package products using approved methods and maintain proper inventory levels
Follow FIFO practices for storing and rotating products and ingredients
Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and production spaces
Monitor product quality and report issues or waste
Assist with ingredient ordering and tracking
Lead or assist with training new kitchen team members
Adhere to all food safety and health department regulations
Work evenings and weekends during peak seasons as needed
Qualifications:
Culinary or pastry school graduates encouraged to apply
Proven kitchen or food production experience required
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
Ability to follow recipes with accuracy and maintain consistency
Ability to lift and move products and ingredients as needed
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
