Import Customer Service – CaroTrans

Chicago, IL

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Chicago Branch as a member of the Import Customer Service team .

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-level customer service and maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and international partners across all areas of Import Customer Service
• Handle all aspects of import operations, including shipment releases, door deliveries, quotations, and general inquiries with accuracy and efficiency
• Manage the full arrival process: issue arrival notices, rate files, and confirm bookings from overseas agents
• Collaborate with the team on daily operational tasks including scheduling, prioritizing, and problem-solving
• Finalize settlements (P&L) using internal systems and Excel spreadsheets
• Close out console files once all shipments are delivered and ensure accurate cost and credit entries for agents and customers

Salary range: 50-60k yearly. Benefits included.
