We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Electrician for our manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong electrical background to join a dynamic and innovative manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical systems and machinery are functioning optimally, enabling the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of electrical systems, including 24VDC, 11VAC, and 460VAC. You will also be expected to troubleshoot, wire, and install these systems as per requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of AC and DC Drives.
- Work with PLC, specifically Allen Bradley PLC's, and have a good understanding of Ladder logic.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
- Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
- Good knowledge of various test equipment.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with electrical schematic, troubleshooting, AC and DC Drives, 24VDC, 11VAC, 460VAC, wiring, and installation.
- Proficient in the use of PLC, particularly Allen Bradley PLC's, and Ladder logic.
- In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
- Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
- Valid license to practice the profession.
