First Western is seeking an Investment Analyst II to join our team!

As a Investment Analyst II at First Western, you will play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals. You will work closely with our Investment Research team to deliver comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations.

What You Will Do:

  • Review and analyze new investment opportunities for potential inclusion on First Western investment platform.
  • Conduct regular due diligence of existing outside investment managers.
  • Analyze prospective client investment portfolios.
  • Prepare quarterly review of economics and financial markets for portfolio managers to present at client meetings.
  • Broad understanding of all asset classes including equities, fixed income, private equity, absolute return, and real assets.
  • Understand and succinctly explain potentially complicated investment strategies or products to internal and external clients.
  • Assist with the oversight and trading of investment accounts.
  • Exhibit natural curiosity and desire to expand knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and economic conditions, and proactively apply that knowledge in the context of the Investment Analyst II role.
  • Think critically to accomplish tasks with limited oversight.
  • Support PC business development activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, policies, and procedures.

What You Bring:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • High initiative and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Able to organize, prioritize and multi-task.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct and Microsoft applications.

Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Math, or other STEM-related field requiring data gathering and analysis. Required

Pay Range: $71,000 - $107,000/YR
