OBJECTIVE:
To identify, evaluate and develop new investment and partnership opportunities. Will work directly with the President of Pipestone Partnerships Division to align and drive investment/partnering strategies in alignment with Pipestone’s Mission.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as assigned)

  • Opportunity Identification: Research and identify potential investment opportunities aligned with the company's Mission.
  • Evaluation and Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis of potential investments/partnerships. Prepare analysis and presentations to support partnering decisions.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with Partnership Team to develop and refine investment/partnering strategies.
  • Partner Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, investors, financial institutions, and industry experts.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of investment/partnering projects, including coordinating with internal teams and external partners. Monitor project performance and ensure timely delivery.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular investment/partnering performance reports and updates for the Pipestone Board and its partners.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with investments/partnerships and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor market conditions and adjust strategies as needed.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree within in the fields of business, economics, accounting or finance

Experience:
3+ years’ experience as an analyst in finance or investment related roles
3+ years’ experience in partnership management and business development

Work Environment:
Office environment

Physical Requirements:
Must be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
Ability to build relationships with investment targets, stakeholders and partners

Additional Requirements:
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
