Requirements and Description

Unifi is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our technology team. Our ideal candidate has a passion for Agile/Scrum practices, enjoys taking on challenging and exciting projects/programs and is driven to improve technology, tools and processes. In this role you will help to support Unifi’s overall company strategy and work closely with the project management team and stakeholders. providing project planning and management for established technology initiatives. They will ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget.



Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver program/project management encompassing all aspects of a technical implementation from inception to go live
• Will be responsible to work with business and technical teams to plan, create, manage and deliver IT projects
• Responsible for evaluating performance of a project/program scope, schedule, resource, and budget; will be responsible for providing status to the executive leadership
• Create and maintain project/program plan
• Will be responsible for identifying, tracking, reporting and following up on RACI
• Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
• Lead and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines as required for each project and project phase to ensure overall project objectives and stakeholder needs are met
• Prepare and coordinate project/program reports.
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
• Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company
• Recruit and train exceptional employees to fill posted positions within the technical department
• Develop and execute an efficient internal communication strategy for ensuring communication with all levels of management within the team
• Design, develop and implement project management tools, standards, processes, and PMO cadences

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field required
• Professional Project Management Certification from accredited institution preferred
• 8+ years of experience leading enterprise technology projects
• Demonstrated understanding of project management and development processes, strategies, and methods
• Experience working closely with technology teams.
• Experience using leading Scrum/Agile tools.
• Experience managing, tracking, and advising around project budgets as they align within goals
• Preferred experience utilizing collaboration practices and tools e.g. MS Teams and SharePoint
• Experience in project management tools e.g. ServiceNow SPM, Smartsheet
• Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department
