Job Description:

Join the Americold team as a Janitor (Alt Shift) at our Chillicothe, MO location! As a Janitor, you’ll help maintain cleanliness and sanitation in refrigerated warehouse areas, break rooms, and docks. This role involves using cleaning equipment, removing refuse, and ensuring a safe, clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Clean warehouse areas, break rooms, and docks using brooms, scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuums
• Remove refuse from building and offices daily
• Clean trailers/railcars and report any pest control issues
• Assist with snow/ice removal during cold months
• Follow all safety protocols and report hazards

Requirements :

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in cold temperatures
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
