Join our Provider Development IT team, an essential contributor supporting Humana's Interoperability strategy and performance management product capabilities. This role focuses on data operations and analytics to enhance our connectivity with providers. As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be involved in the design, development, and management of data solutions on modernized, cloud-based technology platforms approved by the enterprise. Job Responsibilities: + Assist in the development and optimization of data architectures and pipelines. + Participate in the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a variety of data sources using SQL and cloud-based big data technologies. + Support the implementation of data flow processes to enhance data accessibility and reliability across applications. + Collaborate with team members to integrate data-driven analytics into our performance management products. + Contribute to technical discussions and decision-making processes to ensure efficient data handling and security. Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, data science, or a related field. + Exposure to data engineering tools and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Databricks, or similar cloud-based environments. + Experience with SQL and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Scala. + Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. + Eagerness to learn and contribute to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences through data-driven insights.
