We are seeking a skilled Technician with a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and laser systems to join our team. This mid-level role will involve installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced laser technology. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical expertise and excellent communication skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team. Extensive travel is required, along with the ability to manage logistics and build strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise : Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems. Familiarity with laser processing, optics, and lasers (preferred). Work with PLC controls (Allen Bradley, B&R, Wago), machine networking, and software.
- Service & Assembly: Assist with the production, assembly, testing, and installation of LaserSharp® systems.
- Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of systems at customer sites.
- Customer Service : Provide outstanding service during installations and ongoing support. Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and solutions.
- Documentation & Training : Maintain accurate records of service activities. Provide customer training on system maintenance and best practices.
- Travel: Travel up to 75%, often with short notice.
- Manage travel logistics and expenses efficiently.
- Sales Support: Promote and upsell spare parts and system upgrades to customers.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3–5 years in field service, with experience in digital laser processing equipment a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of control systems, mechanical components, and laser technology.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills.
- Travel & Physical Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 75%. Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting, bending, and climbing.
