Overview:

We are hiring for a smaller fast growing company with a LOT of opportunity! One of their prior fabrication leads, moved into a lead estimator position and they are looking to refill that position. On top of the base salary there are bonus opportunities!

Candidates MUST be able to pass a 6G fabrication and weld test! The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, along with a the ability to read blueprints. The Lead must be able to forecast workloads for their team members. This is a 10 hour day shift, working 4 10's with overtime as needed.

Job Responsibilities.

- Fit, fabricate and assemble structural steel as well as thin gauge.

- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as stick welding and plasma cutting

- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

- 7+ years of experience as a welder/fabricator

- Experience working in a lead position and managing/overseeing junior to mid level team members.

- Must be able to perform Stick, MIG, Dualshield, and aluminum welding in all positions.

- Strong grasp of basic math for measurements and calculations

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately

- Proficiency in plasma cutting methods

- Competence in using various power tools

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
