Litigation Associate
Location: California (Multiple Office Locations | Hybrid or Remote Considered)
Compensation: Competitive, DOE
Employment Type: Full-Time
A well-established, nationally recognized litigation firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Litigation practice group. This opportunity is available in multiple office locations across California, with flexibility for hybrid or potentially remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a litigation caseload involving complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability.
Handle cases for both local and national clients throughout California.
Conduct and defend depositions, including expert and plaintiff.
Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
Prepare witnesses and support trial preparation.
Manage court filings, including e-filing.
Maintain detailed and accurate time records.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant defense litigation experience.
Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
Strong deposition and motion practice experience.
Excellent research, writing, and case analysis skills.
Ability to manage workload independently and efficiently.
