Position Overview

We are seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support our loan officers in managing the mortgage process from application to closing. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about helping clients achieve homeownership. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient loan process by assisting with documentation, communication, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist loan officers in gathering and reviewing client documentation.
  • Communicate with borrowers, real estate agents, and lenders to ensure timely loan processing.
  • Prepare and submit loan applications, disclosures, and other required paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan files in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Order credit reports, appraisals, and title work as needed.
  • Track loan progress and follow up on outstanding conditions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries and updating them on their loan status.

Qualifications

  • Loan Officers and Mortgage Industry knowledge
  • Experience in Customer Service and Underwriting
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is a plus
