Responsibilities

Partnered with leading hospitals less than an hour outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with an opening for a skilled Teleradiologist to provide night and weekend locum coverage.

Opening Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday (11p-7a) and 24-hour weekend shifts

• Setting: Remote

• Case Volume: ~60-80 cases per shift

• Will read ED images for multiple facilities

• EMR: All Scripts Sunrise

• PACS: GE Universal Viewer

• Workstations provided

• Must be board-certified or board-eligible

• Enjoy delivering accurate and compassionate teleradiology support during night and weekend shifts.

• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care across Southwestern PA.

• Quickly communicate clear imaging insights to clinicians for effective decision-making.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest imaging protocols and best practices for continual growth.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly for efficient service delivery.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• National Institutes of Health (NIH)

• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

• Active unencumbered MD or DO Pennsylvania state license

• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program

• One year of work experience as a Radiologist

• One year of EMR experience 

• Board Certified

• Possession of board certification or equivalent credentials in radiology.

• Demonstrated proficiency in teleradiology practices during evening shifts.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Comprehensive understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and quality assurance standards.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

• Commitment to delivering timely and accurate radiological interpretations.

• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, technology-driven work environment in Western New York.

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.

• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
