Responsibilities: Design and implement network solutions tailored for automated trading systems. Maintain high availability and low latency network infrastructures. Troubleshoot network issues and collaborate on technology solutions. Proactive monitoring of the network with effective capacity planning. Participate in on-call support rotations, including some weekend work. Mentor junior engineers from a technical standpoint. Required Skills: Expertise in multicast and unicast routing protocols such as TCP/IP, PIM, BGP, OSPF. Proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing modern IP multicast networks. Understanding of low latency networking concepts and tools like packet capture and tcpdump analysis. Familiarity with firewall administration, site-to-site VPNs, high accuracy timing protocols, and network management software.
