Job Title: Machinist
Location: Carson City, NV 89706
Schedule: 3rd Shift & 2nd Shift (3 PM – 11:30 PM) & 3rd Shift (9 PM – 6:30 AM)
Summary:
- Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate manual and automated equipment to produce precision parts per technical drawings and blueprints. Role involves hands-on machining, inspections, and maintaining quality standards under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines, grinders, and milling tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Use inspection tools like micrometers and calipers
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and routine maintenance
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the floor
- Document inspections and follow production instructions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of machining experience (manual & CNC)
- Knowledge of GD&T and machining tolerances
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a loud manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office)
- Machining certificate preferred
