The starting pay for our Mailroom Clerk is $17.50 per hour. In addition to compensation, this position offers flexible hours ranging from 24-32 hours per week. 

Essential Job Functions

• Performs general administrative work supporting the Office Manager.

• Assist in maintaining the employee filing system.

• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and audits.

• Assist in maintaining the employee filing system

• Manages the AMS Mail Room Inbox

• Helps organize and maintain office common areas.

• Ensuring proper labeling and packaging for outgoing post/Forwarding misdirected mail.
• Arranging for deliveries with delivery companies such as FedEx.
• Orders and ships office supplies to WFH employees
• Keeping an inventory of mailing supplies, such as envelopes and stamps.
• Support the Aveanna mission and culture by demonstrating our core values; compassion, team integrity, accountability, trust, innovation compliance and fun.
• Adhere to the Aveanna Compliance Program, including following all regulatory, Aveanna and accrediting agency policy requirements.
Maintain the skills and qualifications necessary to provide or support quality care, including attendance at company-wide educational programs.
• Responsible for submitting accurate time and attendance records and following proper procedures for reporting and making corrections to attendance records. 
• Responsible for harmonious interactions with coworkers and customers, including patients, medical office staff, vendors and the general public.

Requirements
• Minimum Education: High school diploma
• Minimum Experience: Previous mailroom experience

• Must possess a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to interact in a collaborative manner with other departments and teams and independently at times.

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
• Must have visual and hearing acuity
