Job Description

Pharma Tech Industries is looking for a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to join our team!

This role will be responsible for the overall management of maintenance & facilities in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing experience is required. Experience in a packaging facility desired.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee building/facility maintenance including but not limited to normal upkeep of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, chillers, equipment, etc.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement maintenance tracking system such as PM programs, Maintenance log programs/systems, FMEA programs & tracking, etc.
  • Manage projects and new products as needed including budget management, vendor/contractor coordination, and project timelines
  • Evaluate, recommend and order facility equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a cleaning schedule for the facilities.
  • Planning / overseeing building work renovation.
  • Lease management of equipment and facilities.
  • Schedule, track and measure the electronic preventative maintenance program.
  • Negotiate with outside vendors for supplies, repairs and other needs.
  • Analyze and recommend efficiency and cost-saving measures.
  • Allocate and manage space within the facilities.
  • Comply with established GMP, Safety and department/product requirements for each product produced in Pharma Suites and manufacturing department.
  • Ensure GMP is observed in all facets of manufacturing.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in mechanical or technical fields of study

2 years experience of maintenance management in a manufacturing environment required Experience in packaging facility preferred

Basic Skills & Capabilities

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Ability to perform basic math calculations

Ability to communicate well with coworkers and staff to promote professional work environments

Ability to work independently or with other team members to accomplish company goals

Ability to exercise good judgement, initiative, and organization.

Ability to comprehend and accomplish tasks according to guidance and instructions from Management/Supervision

Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time

Ability to lift or move heavy objects in certain situations

Ability to visibly see colors, depths, peripherals, and adjusting focus during various lighting conditions
