Job Description: About the Role:
The Maintenance Manager role at the Womelsdorf location supports operations projects, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Enforcing all company policies and plant rules, to include but not limited to problem solving, development & implementation of standard operating procedures while maintaining working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product and safety environment in the workplace.
- Managing end-line equipment reliability and meeting key performance metrics while staying within the Reliability & Maintenance budget - including working with vendors to ensure best prices and swift delivery.
- Supporting maintenance and related departments like the Project Engineering team through assisting in troubleshooting issues, setting direction of the team, allocating labor, and adjusting as needed based on resources.
Important Details: This is a full-time on-site role supporting plant maintenance needs, schedule flexing could be required but role is predominantly on 1st shift.
About You:
You'll fit right in if you have:
- Strong knowledge of SAP or other maintenance tracking systems
- Strong communication skills at all levels of management
- Previous experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility - food manufacturing is a plus; Extra plus if you are familiar with aseptic processing
- Previous supervisory experience, especially in a manufacturing environment
