Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Performs preventative and/or routine maintenance on equipment
• Trouble shoots and diagnoses problems, equipment issues, and executes repairs
• Works with manufacturing and engineering staff to problem solve and assure repairs are completed correctly
• Ensures new equipment is operating properly, including utility hook ups
• Maintains building systems including: compressed air, water, sewer, and electrical

Knowledge and experience:

• Strong knowledge of machine controls – programming and wiring
• Ability to read and/or understand machine manuals, wiring diagrams, blue prints and schematics
• Basic computer navigation ability – email, internet, applications, etc.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, electrical, plumbing and welding

Additional requirements:

• Ability to operate welding equipment, forklift, drill press, milling machines, and other maintenance equipment
• Organized, works within a process, excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
• Willingness to learn new things
• Safely lifts and / or moves up to 50lbs
• Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands; Frequently will talk/hear, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; Occasionally will sit

Educational requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
