We are seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician to support our residential property in Boston’s South End. You will join our maintenance team responsible for a portfolio of properties in Boston, so reporting to other sites will be needed occasionally. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Performing building repairs such as painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC.
· Preparing open apartments for move-in through turnover repairs and improvements.
· Keeping up the appeal and cleanliness of the building, including groundskeeping and exterior maintenance.
The work hours are 8:00-4:00, Monday to Friday with on-call duties shared on rotation. A generous stipend and overtime pay for on-call duties will apply.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.
· Knowledge of general apartment repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is required; prior experience with REAC inspections preferred.
· Experience with Yardi or other work order systems would be a plus.
· A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
· Bilingual in English and Cantonese or Mandarin would be a plus.
