Position Overview: Plans, organizes and directs the technical operations of all cable systems within the assigned operational area.

Position Responsibilities: - Function as the key technical resource to Regional Management in technical planning and decision making by maintaining state-of-the-art knowledge of plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications for cable electronics and picture quality throughout the Region as regulated by governmental or franchise requirements, including CLI and FCC proofs.
- Act as the technical liaison between the field and office, this position will assist in coordinating dispatch/customer service efforts with the field to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with pertinent FCC rules and regulations in all systems.
- Assist the Regional Plant Manager in managing the vehicle fleet program.
- Travel throughout the Region as required.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Position Requirements: - High School Diploma with an Associates degree in electronics or NCTI, SCTE, BCT or BCE certification equivalent.
- Five years experience in cable television involving work with system parts and components and in-depth experience in the field.
- Previous management and supervisory experience of 3 - 5 years.
- Must have knowledge of National Electrical Code, OSHA, FCC rules and regulations, and related state and local codes.
- Computer literacy in Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Good interpersonal and supervisory skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
