Job Description

We are seeking a Manual QA Tester for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a suite of web-based applications. This position is focused on manual testing and is ideal for someone who excels in requirement analysis, detailed validation, and functional/regression test execution. Youll be working closely with a cross-functional Agile team.

What Youll Do:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design and develop detailed manual test cases and test procedures
• Execute test plans for both new and existing applications
• Perform various testing types, including functional, regression, UI, volume, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA leads to ensure thorough and effective test coverage
• Log and track defects with clarity and precision through resolution
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Support production release cycles and provide QA sign-off
• Optionally assist in maintaining and reviewing existing automated test scripts

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
• 57 years of experience in software QA with a primary focus on manual testing of web-based applications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience writing and executing test cases and test plans
• Experience with:
• Azure DevOps / TFS for test and defect tracking
• Postman for API testing
• SQL or Oracle for backend data validation
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC
• Strong organizational skills and excellent written/verbal communication
• Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium (C#) is a plus, but not required

Work Setup:

• Hybrid : Mesa, AZ 2 days on-site
