Manufacturing Assembler (Temporary, Sonoma County)
Overview:
The Production Assembler I is responsible for assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts, and/or electrical/electronic systems into subassemblies, complete units, or assemblies. Using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other equipment, this role ensures that all components meet specified tolerances and operating requirements. The Assembler may also repair units that do not meet quality standards.
- Full-time, on-site position.
- Temporary role lasting up to 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Operate assembly stations to fit, align, and adjust components according to specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble parts and units.
- Test and calibrate components to ensure they meet product specifications and quality standards.
- Repair or rework components that do not meet tolerance or quality standards.
- Maintain daily production records and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED; Vocational/Technical Training preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of assembly, calibration, soldering, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
