Position Summary Advanced Thin Films is looking for Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for solving problems and collaborating with teams. In this role, the manufacturing engineer supports production through application of technical skills to optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. They will effectively identify opportunities and determine priorities for improvement. They will drive these improvements to allow for additional growth and provide sustained scalability within the value stream.
Duties and Responsibilities \n - Identifies and drives continuous improvement for manufacturing
\n - Implements updated and improved manufacturing technology into process to improve key metrics
\n - Conducts root cause analysis and develops effective countermeasures
\n - Responsible for creating new product BOMs and routings in ERP system
\n - Responsible for in process and final data review for open orders
\n - Creates and manages timelines for projects
\n - Creates and implements methodology for improved workflow and testing capabilities
\n - Documents all procedures for newly developed processes and on-going projects
\n - Creates metrics to track process capability and improvement
\n - As needed creates or recommends creation of drawings for required fixtures and jigs
\n - Translates customer specifications into procedures to be performed by the department
\n - Interacts with various departments that impact production and process issues improve productivity and quality
\n - Establishes, follows, and enforces all safety regulations
\n - Utilizes data analysis techniques to prioritize solutions
\n - Effectively communicates change at all levels in organization

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities \n - Mechanical Aptitude
\n - Systems thinker with a lean and strategic mindset
\n - Basic programming skills (Python/MATLAB, C++/C# )
\n - Work effectively with minimal supervision
\n - Read and understand a variety of job-related instructions and documents, including blueprints
\n - Collect, compile and interpret basic mathematical calculations and statistical data

Credentials and Experience \n - B.S. or higher in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field or the equivalence in work experience.
\n - Four or more years experience in the field of manufacturing engineering. Familiar with using statistical process control or similar methods.
\n - Lean Six Sigma certifications and use are preferred
\n

Total Rewards The compensation range for this position is $74,200.00 - $111,400.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
