About the Role OpenLoop is looking for a
Marketing Coordinator to join our team at our HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day copywriting for content formats such as emails, blogs, sales collateral, internal marketing, and social media, while partnering closely with our Digital Marketing Manager for strategy, priorities, and performance goals. If you enjoy turning ideas into content that ranks, resonates, and converts-this is for you.
What You'll Do - Produce high-quality copy with a healthcare angle for blogs, emails, ads, video scripts, sales collateral, webpages/landing pages, and other copy needs.
- Use best practices to research keywords, align with search intent, structure posts (H1/H2s), optimize meta data, and recommend internal links. Help track SERP movement.
- Manage the cross-channel calendar; draft posts, short videos, carousels, and stories; publish, engage, and report. Adapt voice by platform while protecting each brand's identity.
- Prep questions, run short interviews, and translate insights into credible, quotable content.
- Assist with sales conference logistics such as scheduling, booth coordination, registration and other as needed tasks.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to bring strong content ideas to the table and report on performance. We're looking for a candidate with ideas to share!

Who You Are - Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of industry experience (please be prepared to provide strong portfolio examples)
- Proven copywriting experience at an organization, publication, internship, or equivalent. Portfolio/samples required.
- Some experience interviewing subject matter experts.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices (keyword research, search intent, on-page best practices, SERP analysis).
- Knowledge of basic social media best practices for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook (formats, timing, engagement).
- Experience working in Wordpress, HubSpot, Semrush, or previous healthcare experience (writing or other) is preferred.
