Marketing Manager needed for a fast-growing skincare company in Irvine, CA.
Direct Hire role paying
$70,000 - $75,000/yr , depending on experience.
Hours are 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday , 100% onsite. A fun, collaborative, and supportive office culture.
Role Overview: The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful day-to-day project management of marketing projects from their inception to completion under the guidance of the Director of Marketing, as well as managing social media channels. This includes interpreting creative direction for new projects, involving appropriate stakeholders, tracking projects through each functional sub-department in marketing, and identifying and measuring campaign KPIs. The Marketing Manager will also be expected to provide research and contribute to collaborative brainstorming for new ideation, and provide content creation as needed.
Job Responsibilities: Team Efficiency : - Receive Creative Briefs and schedule kick-off meeting with Client(s) if needed, track the project’s progress through the various marketing departments such as copywriting, design, web, translations, etc.
- Manage organization of Marketing Team’s document storage (Sharepoint) and Creative Storage (Dropbox) to ensure an up-to-date shared archive is maintained.
- Review materials for accuracy/fulfillment of Creative Brief prior to going to Director of Marketing for final review.
Content Creation :
- Create copy for marketing materials as needed, such as social media pieces, blogs, web, product & brand marketing materials, video scripts, and more.
- Represent company is promotional & educational videos to be used on social media outlets, at events, and more.
Communications :
- Assist with creation of, and manage completion of, communications plans for product launches, promotions & events.
- Manage company's Instagram and other social media channels, including content creation, engagement with followers, and monitoring for potential compliance issues.
Brand Identity :
- Assist Director of Marketing in ideating and upholding brand messaging and collateral (including, but not limited to, the company's voice and product representation on print, video, web, social media, digital assets and more) for current and new company product offerings.
Event Support :
- Manage event-related creative projects as needed.
- Travel to support event management needs as needed, including through weekends.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- 3+ years experience in marketing capacity, preferably in the beauty and/or wellness industry, or commensurate, transferable experience
- Excellent organizational & written communication skills.
- Works well in a fast-paced, deadline-based work environment.
- Utilize all approved forms of communication such as Asana, Teams, Email and text message to work with remote team members effectively.
- Possess strong collaboration skills.
- Be a “self-starter;” be pro-active in anticipating department needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and/or willingness to learn unfamiliar programs and/or systems to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends to meet deadlines.
- PMP highly preferred, but not required.
