Job Description:

This position supports patients with clinical needs for medical massage therapy. LMTs work closely with the entire LM & WC team within the interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

Job Essentials

  • Provides massage therapy to patients as required by the plan of care.
  • Maintains and cleans massage therapy equipment as needed.
  • Ensures proper patient charting, accurately recording massage therapy treatment, response to treatment, etc.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and regulations affecting the provision of massage therapy.
  • Provides education as to the importance, benefits and contraindications of massage.
  • Participates in program development, establishment of new procedures, etc. as needed to improve patient care.
  • Communicates treatments and assessment findings to the evaluating physical/occupational therapist.

Posting Specifics

  • Pay: Dependent on experience

  • Department: Park City LiVe Well Center, Park City Hospital.

  • Schedule: PRN, as needed during the day Monday - Friday

  • Preferred Experience: LMT and minimum 3years cranial sacral education and experience.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Current license as a Massage Therapist in the State of practice.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly Preferred Experience: LMT and minimum 3years cranial sacral education and experience.

  • National massage therapy certification.

  • Massage therapy experience.

  • Hospital and/or physical therapy experience.

Physical Requirements:

Carrying, hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, standing, walking.

$22.19 - $34.26
