Hospice Massage Therapist: Have independence and flexibility in the field to visit patients one on one in their home environment to provide comfort touch massage.

Hours: Part-time or Casual |1-2 days a week | Flexible schedule with days and hours

A few must-haves for this position: 

• Successful completion of post-secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy.
• One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
• Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.
• Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by office. Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
• CPR Certification 

Some functions of what you would do as a Massage Therapist

• Conduct initial evaluation, assessing & identifying patient’s needs.
• Provides massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician’s orders and the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) plan of care with a focus on a hospice and palliative care approach.
• Communicates with the IDG regarding the patient’s condition/status and progress toward goals.
• Participates in IDG meetings as requested.
• Completes and submits accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.
