West Side Manufacturer seeking experienced Material Handler for shipping/receiving department.
IMMEDIATE OPENING for Full time day shift of 7:00-3:30.
Must be detail oriented; dependable work history; have high school diploma or GED; and physical capabilities for duties.
- Valid drivers license with NO accidents or no more than 2 points;
- MUST possess previous experience in the following:
- Tow motor
- Driving flatbed and/or box truck with air brakes
- Forklift operations
Job Responsibilities:
- Material handling between (2) company locations
- Load and unload trucks
- Assisting with monthly warehouse physical inventory
- Receiving and inspecting incoming raw materials
- Receiving and documenting returned products
- Ensuring products processed for shipping are designated to correct courier
- Previous experience using manual and electric pallet jack as required
- Arranging finished products
- Preparing shipping cartons
- Daily and weekly cleaning in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Assisting with daily inactive inventory
- Customer deliveries
- Filling customer orders
- Assist in the labeling and packaging department
- Adaptable and willing to support other areas when daily shipping is completed
Mental/Physical qualities required for this position:
- Respective movements for extended period of time
- Lifting 60+ lbs
- Initiative to accomplish tasks
