Our client, in McCook NE , a leader in the manufacturing industry , is seeking a Materials Handler/Forklift Op  to join their team. As  Materials Handler/Forklift Op , you will be part of the Production Department , supporting Mixing Operations . The ideal candidate will have attention to detail , strong communication skills , and a commitment to safety , which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Op
Location: McCook NE
Pay Range: $20.58/hr with Shift Deferential of $1.25/hr

What's the job?

• Accurately weigh ingredients for gram bags according to recipes to supply mixers.
• Operate bulk unloading systems to transfer blacks, clays, and oils into storage.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and order supplies as needed.
• Sample and identify raw materials to confirm quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following 5S+ safety guidelines.
• Forklift operations

What's Needed? 

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Previous manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Forklift operations experience
• Good math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and work in varying temperatures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
