Job Description

Mathnasium of Minnetonka, a math-only learning center, has several openings for math instructors to work with students in grades K - 12. Mathnasium Instructors teach math in a way that makes sense to the students, curriculum and materials are pre-determined for each student. Learning center environment is supportive and encouraging. Applicants should love teaching and be able to motivate students to succeed.

Required Qualifications

• Exceptional math skills through Algebra I & Geometry
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
• Energetic and confident personality

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to teach students in upper-level high school math courses (Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, & Calculus)
• Previous teaching/tutoring experience or other experience working with students

Hours May Vary; Most Instructors Work Approximately 8 - 18 Hours Per Week (flexible). Starting Compensation Is $10 - $15/hour. Instructors Must Have Availability During The Following Times

• School Year: Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Thursday - 4:00 to 8 PM; Saturday - 10 AM to 1 PM

Compensation: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
