Description General Definition of Work Under regular supervision, performs work producing, directing and editing videos, taking and editing photos, designing graphics and flyers, managing social media, and managing the department website; does related work as apparent or assigned.

Examples of Duties Essential Functions - Produces and edits videos and photos;
- Photographs events, programs, and other occasions as needed;
- Contributes to the design of flyers and social media graphics;
- Assists with social media postings to increase public awareness and engagement;
- Researches and implements new strategies on social media to increase followers, improve engagement, and broaden reach;
- Analyzes social media data to evaluate content engagement and gauge performance;
- Assists Senior Special Projects Coordinator in planning, programming and evaluating program and equipment needs;
- Maintains department web content and manages editing requests.
Typical Qualifications Education and Experience Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in or major course work in graphic design, media communications, electronics, video photography/editing, TV/film journalism or a related field; experience with setting camera and field productions, minimum of two years recent digital video production experience, script writing, and editing; lighting and audio knowledge; skilled in graphic design software; experience with editing systems (Adobe Creative Suite preferred); experience creating social media content (posts, graphics, Reels).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities General knowledge of planning, design and preparation of video materials and equipment; general knowledge of methods of production of video production; ability to write, produce and edit videos; ability to be creative and innovative in programming, technical and artistic endeavors in dealing with a target audience; ability to understand and work from oral and written instructions; ability to take high quality photos to be used for marketing purposes; comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms analytics; excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
Supplemental Information Special Requirements Possession of a valid Drivers License
Job requires some weekend an evening work based on event schedules.
