We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Medical Assistant Lab Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for instructing and guiding students in the practical aspects of medical assisting, ensuring they gain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the healthcare field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for medical assistant lab courses.
- Provide hands-on training in clinical procedures, laboratory techniques, and patient care.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their learning.
- Maintain a safe and organized lab environment, ensuring all equipment is functional and properly maintained.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and student experience.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in medical assisting.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
- Previous teaching or training experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and laboratory practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
