Job Title: Medical Device Assembler - 1st Shift

Job Description

• This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices, primarily in a clean room environment.
• The role includes the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, and the operation of various equipment and machinery to produce medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications.
• Follow manufacturing instructions and update relevant job documentation accurately for traceability.
• Prepare products for packing and sterilization.
• Inspect products using a microscope.
• Ensure activities comply with GMPs.
• Set up coating machines, coat, inspect, and fold balloon catheters.
• Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations.
• Test formulations and package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.
• Identify supplies that need to be replenished.
• Build components needed for top-level work orders.
• Complete cleaning activities as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience with microscope inspection.
• Familiarity with cleanroom/gowning and de-gowning processes.
• Good hand/eye dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and other computer software packages.
• Ability to communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to supervisors and management.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.

Work Environment

• Work primarily in a cleanroom environment, involving standing for extended periods.
• Be prepared to follow cleanroom/gowning and de-gowning processes.
• The position may require working overtime and weekends due to high demand.

Job Type & Location

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
