Medical Manager, LaGrange GA
Led by a highly skilled team of anesthesiology and pain management doctors, The Nexus Pain Centers in Columbus, LaGrange, Newnan, Fayetteville, Stockbridge and Griffin are a preeminent pain clinic providing their patients with innovative medical solutions and cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for an experienced manager to run the daily operations of our LaGrange staff.
- Manages and actively supports the clinical staff to deliver quality service and care to patient families
- Manages Front and Back office, this includes team of Medical Assistants, Lab personnel, Receptionists and Administrative specialists
- Promotes a positive and safe work environment for all employees and patients
- Serves as an example and leader for all staff
- Clear communicator with staff and physicians
- Provides support for physicians and effectively executes practice goals
- Effectively implements and manages workflows
- Manages operations of all departments, manages practice supplies and required inventory, executes all necessary quality measures, and maintains clinical flow and professionalism
- Attends all company meetings and coordinates regularly scheduled meetings with all staff to enhance practice communication and ensure goals are met
Education and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Nursing or LPN license preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience
- 5 + years of experience in clinical management/supervisory position
- EClinical knowledge and experience a plus
- Pain management office experience preferred
Must be a United States citizen and be proficient in English
Ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screen, which may be requested before or after hire
Hours and Physical Demands Required
- Weekday availability should range from 7:30 AM-4:30 PM M-F. Presence is required for the start of each day. Some weekend and after hours required for meetings, and to address staffing concerns.
- Must be able to lift 15 lb. independently
- Bending, stooping, walking, sitting
- Hearing and speaking to effectively communicate with staff, physicians, and patient families
- Work conditions do include potential exposures to blood and bodily fluids

Clinical Job responsibilities include:
Ability to function highly and proficiently in all clinical areas so one can serve as an example and resource for all clinic staff. These areas include the Certified Medical Assistants, Lab Personnel, Front Desk and Administration team. Knowledge of our EMR system EClinical, the Human Resources and time management keeping systems as well as proficient in Microsoft Office products. As a Clinic Manager, you must help oversee all admin and clinical issues and or emergencies and offer strong direction in resolution of the concern. Training on the products is provided on all platforms.

- Practice proper safety techniques in accordance with the practice policies and procedures
- Responsible for the reporting and documentation of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues
Compliance Measures
- Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to the area of responsibility to include HIPAA, OSHA and others
- Identifies potential risk areas and implements a resolution
- Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Operations Director, Compliance Manager and/or the COO
