Company Background: At Miller-Keystone Blood Center, our mission is to save lives by partnering with our community to provide a continuous supply of blood services to our community.
Position Summary: Our medical screeners work at both fixed site (one location) and mobile collections (blood drives) and are responsible for the safe collection of blood products from our volunteer blood donors in a compassionate and professional manner. In this role, you will perform blood pressure readings, pulse, temperature, fingerstick and ask follow-up questions to verify the donor is eligible to donate.
** HOURS:
- Part-time - must be available for AM and PM shifts
- 7am to 3pm & 12pm to 8pm
- 3 days per week including every other weekend & rotating holidays
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of Medical Terminology a plus
· Ability to work with computers and tablets, a plus.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Ability to follow all MKBC SOP's.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
· A valid driver's license and personal transportation is required.

Pay and Bonuses:
· Starting Rate is $15.06
· 6-month performance review
· New Hire Bonuses: You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus. Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service.
